Over the summer term the school worked with the Parish Council to complete a project about Points Bridge and it's significance to the history of Wylam and beyond. The project focus was STEM and the children took part in engineering workshops where they produced a replica bridge, photography and film making. The second half of the project took the form of representing the village through drama. At the end of the project the children put on a performance at the Wylam Institute, where the community were also able to look at the photography display completed by the children and the film. This project not only brought together the school and the community but also different experts from a range of fields.
